Teams and Schedule of Events for 2002

What:
The patroller games are a series of fun and serious racing events for patrollers.

Where:
California Side of Heavenly Ski Resort, Ski Run Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA. Registration will be on the North (uphill) end of the parking lot near the Tram building.

When:
Saturday, April 6th, 2002. Registration at 8:00 am. Events start at 9:30 am.

Who:
Teams of 4 patrollers (a minimum of one female patroller). Must be active patrollers in good standing at home resort. Open to paid and volunteer patrollers from near and far.

What to wear:
All participants must wear a ski patrol uniform with fully stocked first aid supplies.

Cost:
Team registration is $65 and includes, lift access, trophies, lunch, after festivities refreshments. A limited number of complimentary lift tickets for immediate family members of participants will be available to teams that register early. These tickets are available on a first registered – first served basis.

Events:
A combination of fun and serious racing events including: Giant Slalom, Empty Toboggan racing, "Run-a-Wreck", Obstacle Marking. Yard Sale Clean-up and more.

What to bring:
Each team needs to bring a Cascade toboggan, a backboard and 5 pieces of bamboo.

Lodging:
South Lake Tahoe has numerous inexpensive lodging alternatives. Limited space may be available in cabins of Heavenly volunteer patrollers. Inquire if interested
