Benefits
There is a LOT of “feel good” involved in patrolling. You’ll experience this every time you help an injured guest, assist a tired or in-over-his-head customer down the mountain, provide directions to a lost skier, connect children with their lost parents, etc. You should think twice if this, and the great opportunity to practice the application of your medical skills, is not your primary motivation for joining the patrol.
As long as you maintain proficiency at all required skills and patrol at least 14 days each season, you will have access to additional benefits such as the following:
- Annual Ski Pass (for you and each of your dependents)
- Discounted CALSTAR Membership via a patroller group rate.
- Network of Exceptional People who bring great diversity and love what we do together.
- First Tracks every day because we're on the mountain before anyone else
- and many more...
