Heavenly Area Ski Patrol is and organization of volunteers who are trained in Outdoor Emergency Care and winter rescue. They are members of the National Ski Patrol, who along with the Heavenly professional ski patrol serves Heavenly Mountain Resort in South Lake Tahoe, California.
Snowing Again
We got another 4-7 inches of fresh snow since 5am yesterday, bringing our total to more than 2 feet in the last week! Cold overnight temps have sucked some of the moisture out of the snow, meaning exquisite conditions!
Joining the Ski Patrol
The Ski Patrol is a very challenging and rewarding opportunity. If you love the outdoors, love helping people, and good on skis then you can look forward to joining a great group of people and a fun change to your skiing experience.
The first step in joining the patrol is to take our ski test then take an Outdoor Emergency Care course. If you would like to find out more about joining and patrolling at Heavenly, please contact
Jeff Young, the testing and training coordinator for the National Ski Patrol at Heavenly
